Another variant of Sandbox, brought to you by an anthropomorphic Equestria and an interdimensional rift for all kinds of what-the-fuckery.
Gonna start soft, bring on the madness partway in and have some fun.
"Rawr!" Action Express yelled as she leapt from her bed to tackle the intruding human. Her wings enveloped the disoriented trespasser in an olive, feathery shell while her gloved hands smacked the man gently.
"Gah! Eagle! It's me, Dan, dammit!" The man replies in between smacks, weakly pushing the pegasus's feathers off his face after she tried to smother him. Express got up from straddling the man, giggling a little as he dusted himself off. "Ready for the party, aren't we?" Daniel asked rhetorically, smirking at his friend. He was dressed in a 'Serro Scrapper', a boxy helmet with a visor being used as a right shoulder plate and aluminium scrap used to make the space-age style jumpsuit more scrapped up and armoured looking. Behind him was a long, square metal pipe that had a bunch of false blades on one end to imitate a futuristic scrap saw.
Express, on the other hand, was dressed in a gentlemanly outfit, strange for her form as most of it was salvaged from her father's old wardrobe. A tuxedo with cut-outs for her wings, multiple bulletholes and cuts to expose the undershirt, dyed with fake blood, and with gloves to complete the 'mafia hitman' look. "Yessir. Dressed to kill, no?" She grinned, picking up a trilby and placing it on her head, covering her eyes. "Come 'ere, slick." Express said with a little drawl, making her comrade laugh a little.
"Let's just get to the party without being mistaken for some crazed assassins." Dan said as he held the door open for his lady.

Outside of Canterlot, an object fell from the sky and crash landed right at the gates. It was blood red, and seemed to be a container or pod. Meanwhile, in the badlands that had the Diamond Dogs, a large ship crashed into the ground. It didn't explode, but instead slid forward on its belly, and did so for about half-a-mile before stopping.

(I'll jump in with this one. I hope I can keep up But where is everyone at the start?) (It's your choice to begin wherever and as whoever you please. Again, start soft, we want the new guys to not be completely intimidated.) Daniel spun his polearm about as he and his friend continued upon their way to the party, with Express having brought her real firearms but not playing about with them even when Dan was being a bit of an idiot and scaring a bunch of foals along the way by speaking Corpus in a synthesized voice, despite not having any synth gear, and freaking passers-by. "Ekpetsitape koypipey!" Dan said, staring at one of the foals while twirling the Serro about. The child quickly sped off, afraid of the strange man who spoke like a machine. He laughed despite Express glaring at him. "Yotty." He said, before translating himself. "Sorry. Kinda carried away, huh?" Express rolled her eyes, "Come on, let's just get there without killing anyone." She said.

(Is that like an actual 'gentle introduction' or what? Cause gentle for you is vastly different than gentle for me.) The sky above Canterlot shifted colors, an aurora of light filling the sky before it erupted around a fireball that flew overhead. The flames that surrounded it shifted colors, before it went streaking off into the Everfree. Even from so far away the ponies of Canterlot could feel the impact of whatever it was.
In the Everfree, the various beasts gathered around the impact site. The flames that surrounded the thing were cold, the heat being absorbed by the device. One of the timberwolves approached the odd device, sniffing at it before simply falling to the ground. A loud hissing filled the new clearing, scaring away the wildlife as a hatch opened on the device. The sound of metal scratching on metal could be heard as something climbed out of the large thing, a single timber wolf watching it crouch over the one timber wolf that had approached it. It watched strands of light flow from the timber wolf into the mouth of the creature, a constant clicking sound as it 'fed'. A howl went up as they ran away from the abomination.

A tall spirit had entered Equestria, softly moving. "Ah..." it said, keeping its 'mask' over its 'face.' It moved into Canterlot, going through the night filled city. It moved through buildings, scaring some ponies along the way. "Ah." it said, again.

(Yeah... just try not to make it too fucked up for the new guys if they were to join. Heck, even I couldn't join in on the Sandbox 2.0.) Express shifted uncomfortably, sensing that there was something off about... well, something. She couldn't quite put her finger on it but Dan was instantly jumpy. "You felt that?" Dan asked, having grown up in an area where seismic shocks were pretty common, he was pretty nervous after feeling a rumble. "It's definetly not a truck, I'll tell you that." He added, looking about nervously. Express nodded and quickened her pace, prompting her comrade to follow suit. The sooner they got somewhere safer, the better.

(If seen better...but alright then) A shadow dashed around the town of Ponyville, the person really knowing what the hell happened. "This place is weird." The thing thinks to itself as it keeps to the shadows, not wanting to show itself yet and wondering if it should kill anything or anyone.

"Ah?" said the spirit, turning toward where he had felt the energy surge. "Eh." It kept moving through Canterlot, heading through the city aimlessly. It devoured some food, as it passed by, and simply made gold in return. It knew this felt wrong, as it had done so once before with... terrible results of its actions.

The whining sound increased in intensity.
"Ugh..." The Freeboota Captain said as he shook his head to get rid of the blackness that clouded his vision.

Three pegasi heard the weird whining sound and headed off to it. "Wonder what that sound is..." The lead one wonders a little.

The shadow heard the whining from the town, dashing towards it quickly wondering what all that high pitched noise was. "We're almost there..." Another pegasi says, hearing the noise a lot more clearly now.

Three pegasi heard the weird whining sound and headed off to it. "Wonder what that sound is..." The lead one wonders a little. The pod was large and tall. In exact measurements, it seemed to be ten feet tall, fifty feet long, and thirty feet across. It wasn't so much a pod as it was some sort of container... Though it could be something else. The lights in it were flashing red to indicate a warning, and a voice was repeating something in it. However, the voice was drowned out by the incredibly loud whining.

(*Begins laughing profusely.* I'm sorry, it's not that the name is bad, it's just that the character's name reminds me of a joke a friend of mine used to make three years ago... It was hilarious.)

(Note, if this is something from Warhammer...I might just punch someone) "My Celestia is that annoying." The mare pegasi groans while they fly down towards it, keeping there ears back to help lower the noise. "You sure this is a good idea?" The other Pegasi asks with a frown. "Not one single bit." The lead one laughs a little.

The peagasi didn't notice, but were more focused on the weird looking machine. "What the heck is that noise?" The shadow thinks to itself as it continues to dash towards the weird noise.

The inside of the thing is actually very nice, excluding burn marks and dents where the container-thing hit the ground roughly. The floors and such are pure white, like a laboratory. As for the doors... They're sort of kind of at the back of what seems to be the first room of many.

No Face looked at the pod, completely revealing himself. "Ah..." he said, looking at the pod. He created a pair of sewing needles, and began making a sweater.

Almost like it was a very nice place before... Whatever happened to it.

No Face walked closer to the pod, before hearing the other spirit arrive. "Ah..." "There you are, No Face!" said the other spirit, which looked like a bird like human with a lower crab half from her waist down. "Don't run off like that!"

"Oh wonderful, more things..." The stallion pegasus groans a little. "Hey, mind if either of you two help me out here? I don't want this thing blowing up on me." The pegasus says, seeing the container and being cautious in case it was a magical bomb or something.

(Not gonna spoil it, but I will say that the beings of this world, so close to magic, are going to have to be very careful around this beast.) The creature raised its face upwards to the sky, a low humming coming from it before its neck snapped around to a seemingly random direction. It stood up to its full height, standing at just over eight feet tall with its hands at its knees with long talons another half foot extending from them. It began walking towards the source of energy it felt, such a large concentration was sure to feed it well.
