Dan bled a little from his shattered arm but showed no pain otherwise, a demented grin as he felt the first punch to the box of a helmet that he was wearing. Mechanical laughter came from his body before he went limp, the Serro and visor going dark. Express, at this point, broke down into a feral fury, ditching her rifle and drawing a semi-automatic hand cannon, most commonly known as a Desert Eagle, chambered in her namesake caliber, .50 Action Express. With a scream of rage, Express charged, her wings spread out to make her form larger and more fearsome to any basic predator but more of an extra set of limbs in the current combat situation. She emptied the eight rounds into the Ork before holstering the handgun and clinging on to the beast's head, slamming her fists down into the skull of the Ork repeatedly, pulses of amber magic, though faint, could be seen by any distant observers as the punches landed. Express planted her feet on the Ork's shoulders and put her weight and energy into leaping off, putting enough distance between the Ork and herself to come up with her next course of action, namely, getting back to the beast and caving its skull in with her bare hands.

Express planted her feet on the Ork's shoulders and put her weight and energy into leaping off, putting enough distance between the Ork and herself to come up with her next course of action, namely, getting back to the beast and caving its skull in with her bare hands. The Ork was going to rip Dan's head off, but then felt the huge impact of Express's attacks. The creature roared as it felt pulsating pain in its skull, and it actually crumbled to its knees briefly before recovering. After that, he turned to face the pony, eyes almost red with fury. "I'M GONNA RIP YOUR FACE OFF," it shouted, bleeding out of its mouth a bit as it picked up the Shoota and lifted it up before charging, swinging it wildly like a club, "BEFORE I BITE YOU IN HALF AND EAT YOUR INTESTINES! I'M GONNA ENJOY KILLIN' YA!!!" (Has Express ever encountered an Ork before? If not, I expect her to ask Dan (when he wakes up) what the fuck they were fighting.)

(Wake up? Dan's dead.) Express screamed again, charging blindly and leaping onto the Ork's head, smashing her energy-charged fists into the skull. Repeatedly. "Die! Die! DIE!" She chanted in a loud, chaotic and yet controlled voice. She was clearly on the verge of tears, holding it back and turning her despair into hatred and anger before smashing it all into the Ork. "DIE! DIE! DIE!" Her cried got louder as she kept hitting, harder and harder as she kept on pounding on the pain.

Though since she's killed the Mekboy, more spores are going to spread out, which'll turn into more Orks.) The Ork roared angrily, but it began to crumble, its roars turning to gurgling groans and moans as it began to slump over, its brain turned to goo by Express's might. Finally, the creature fell dead, never to rise again.

Express's rage-induced high eventually died down, watching the Ork finally collapse in a dead heap. She knelt, exhausted before the dead body of the Ork before realizing that Daniel was unconscious. She got up, running over to Dan's form, trying to wake him. "Dan? Dan, you fool." She said, giving him a gentle slap on the face, "Please, stop scaring me, wake up..." She pleaded, shaking his body a little, praying to whatever gods were out there. "Dan...?" She whispered again before breaking down again. Dan's helmet had disengaged, revealing several visible subdermal bone fractures. One eye had been completely liquified, gone from his face at this point, and his entire body was completely broken and dead. Express hugged Daniel's dead body, bawling into his suit, not really caring if she was found.

The creature's liquified brain oozed onto the ground as spores burst from its body and flew with the wind to become more Orks. A dove flew down from the sky and landed next to Express, holding a black lily in its beak as it leaned towards the destroyed Pegasus, almost as if it wanted to give the pony the lily. (Lilies are the flower most commonly associated with funerals, so I chose it.)

Express remained kneeling over her friend's dead body, Dan's broken smile looking up at her was just depressing and less frightening than what one would instantly think. She remained there for a little longer before getting up and cradling Dan's corpse, walking out of the woods, taking the shortest path through the Everfree. No words were spoken between Express and anyone as she passed through the suburbs, the same ones where Dan used to live upon Rifting over into Equestria. Express kept at her pace, looking out for Dan's old house. She remembered a little quip from Dan once, something about always wanting to die violently. Guess you got your wish, you arsehole. She scolded, the dead body not responding since he was gone. Express stood in front of the old house, the small apartment was closed for demolition but was still up. After all, he only moved in with her a month ago. She walked through the unlocked house, looking at the dark, dusty interior as she passed through the building towards the backyard and laying the suited man down on the grass. Express picked up a shovel and begun digging, all the while muttering something under her breath as she stabbed the shovel-head into the ground and began digging Dan's grave.

The dove had followed in silence, and when Express began digging the grave, the bird dropped the lily right in front of the place that would have a tombstone. The lily was as dark as midnight, yet it seemed to glow brightly in the morning light. The dove landed on the top of the apartment and began to clean itself.

Express never noticed the dove as she continued to dig, still mumbling something under her breath. She went inside the house, wanting to get a drink after the whole ordeal and to get some form of coffin for her ex-comrade but gave up, deciding that she should at least salvage his remaining armour and weapons off his body, stripping him down and removing his suit and taking his Serro, Glock and Mini Thirty. She left his underclothes on simply out of respect. Dammit, Danny. Dammit all. She thought, cleaning his weapons as a final sign of his service to the Agency as an honorary Agent, even if that was simply because he fought alongside them once.

The child ignored the orks, turning towards the source of whatever was making it hungry. It barreled through the walls, using its claws to tear through the plating before its mass tore the rest of the way through. It made a quick path to the engines, growing hungrier as it got closer. Its face opened up as it approached the engines, revealing a complex array of circuitry surrounding a gem that shifted colors. Threads of light started moving from the engine towards the gem, metallic teeth surrounding the gem clicking as the energy flowed into it.

Yes, it'll provide an amazing amount of power, but I think we can all agree having a Warp portal opening in your gut wouldn't be the most enjoyable feeling.) The thing crackled violently, and the energy suddenly felt dark and twisted. Voices began to whisper to the child... "Join us..." One voice said. "Be one with the Immaterium, and learn the true definition of power..." Another said. The voices ranged from seductive to sickly to threatening to convincing, all asking that the Child either join or serve them.

(Two things. 1:The harvester is not organic, and has no capability to hear. 2: Even if it could, it's a programmed directive. No free will, it simply hunts and devours energy. It has no capability to 'feel' anything, just absorb energy and rip through things in its path quite efficiently. The Warp wouldn't even recognize that it exists because it holds no organic sentience, and never has.) The Child continued to devour the energy from the engine, its internal bank registering a high efficiency conversion with what was already in its energy bank. This world would serve as a grand power source, and if he could fulfill his objective then other Children could come here too.

The Orks were going crazy, some killing each other, others running for the engine area to kill the Child. Meanwhile, SmashSkull had decided to turn around and head back to his Kill Krooser to see if anything else had happened. (Will the Child begin targeting the Orks?)

(As a whole their psychic energy is powerful, but none of them hold enough energy alone for him to consider them a battery. Unless they begin attack him in earnest, it won't bother targeting them.) The Child leaned down onto its fore-arms, it's face opening wider to reveal more of the gem as larger ribbons of energy began flowing towards it. It remembered now why this ship had drawn him, they carried very powerful energy sources. The clicking grew louder as a hum joined the clicking, its body steaming as the heat of so much energy flowing through it was dissipated.

(I was planning to join, but it appears you're too busy killing each over at the moment ) (You could join a non-action situation. Express is still grieving.) Express lay the three weapons before her, kneeling before them after cleaning the gore off the blade and guns. She remained silent and still, just staring at the weapons as she tried not to focus on Dan. Having just buried one of her best friends, she felt wrong, terrible for letting him die, afraid and yet angry. You let him die. He could have been alive but you failed.NO! It wasn't my fault. Express shook the thoughts out of her head, the conflict becoming more than she could take after the whole ordeal. Buck... I think I need a nap or just something. She thought as she stood up before something caught her eye. The Serro was glowing a strange orange, similar to her dad's magic. Express gripped the Serro's handle, a small static shock ran through her, the weapon responding to her natural magic as it seemed to pulse with her heart. Something above thumped, something that she wanted to check out but was tiring rapidly. She let the Serro lean against the wall before curling up on the sofa and laying there, her wings wrapping around her as a feathery shell before beginning to doze off.

Mia, the elf woman, walked through the plains of Equestria, falling into an old ruin. "Ah! Mother..." she said, looking up. "No matter, it's not far." She looked back to her level, before looking forward. She was met with a long, elongated hallway, one that lead toward a throne room of sorts. "Going once, twice... let's see what's in there." Mia said, walking down the hall.

"Who dares enter my home?" A voice says, echoing along the halls like it was shouted, but it was just a soft tone.

"Mia, Queen of the Ghosnanian people." said Mia, her dress looking rather regal, but a little revealing. "I see these halls are still in pristine condition, not ruins. Tell me, who are you?"

A sound of foot steps were heard, but couldn't be told from where because of all the echoing. "I'm the keeper of this place. Try to keep it well but no one ever comes here anymore." The voice sighs out, sounding more feminine the the thing got closer. "But I suppose I should show myself to someone of royal lineage...even though I've never heard of these 'Ghosanian' people..."

Mia fixed her dress, allowing it to naturally flow. "What is your name? Have you any spell books that I may study?" she announced, her bright amber eyes shining in the dark.

A silver dragoness walks into the room, a silky dress looking like it's been freshly made not to long ago on her. "There is a library here yes. But mind if I ask how you got here? Not many come here on accident, and even fewer come here on purpose." She says, the dragoness says, standing a good 8 feet tall. "But my names ancient...but my name is Sarah." She says, keeping her real name a secret because of the magic names hold.

Mia followed, her feet touching the stone of the floor. "Why would a Dragon choose to live underground? Unless you're leading me into a trap." she said aloud, still walking along with the Dragoness.

"Can't a lady live where she likes?" She asks with innocence. "And no, this is not a trap. I'd like people to come here more because of all my hard work here. I keep this place clean and well kept, instead of having this wonderful history succumb to time."

On one hand, it was a good thing his krew was entirely intact, but on the other, how was he going to get anywhere without power?

"As in having death written on it then a bit yes." She says with a shrug. "Why do you ask? I wouldn't think you would want to learn such ghastly things." She says, using the normal term for that stuff instead of thinking it was actually bad.
