"Grievous? I have no such designations in my data banks." The droid said, having recovered from the recoil of the force attack. Its empty hand twisted, the metal twisting apart to reveal a larger set of prongs. Theredil could feel the energy thrumming from the prongs. "Minor disturbance output insufficient, only momentary dissonance of faculties." It raised the prongs to point at Theredil, a large bolt of electricity arcing between the two. It traveled down the two prongs, an immense screech blasting towards Theredil as the bolt broke from the end of the prongs.
SS-100's scanners moved across the treeline, looking for any more movement. "I know I didn't hit anything vital. No recognizable vocal outcries, indicates either pain threshold training or inability to cry out." SS-100's eyes shifted through the color spectrum, trying to see if any of its other sensors could pick anything up. "Assuming injured, no thermal readings capable at this distance. No signal from thermal tethers, so it is still within the underbrush of the forest. Moving to counter-infiltration protocols, raising motion sensor sensitivity to sixty percent, lowering calculation accuracy requirements. Switching to secondary aiming algorithm. Remaining battery at seventy percent." SS-100 raised its rifle, shifting into overwatch mode as it slowly swept its barrel back and forth across its operation zone.

Sortaka took deep breaths, looking down at her wound and seeing if it was way too damaged. "Well that's not good. Left lower calf, probably not gonna be waking for a while unless I use the force." She thinks to herself, knowing the force could be a splint if necessary. "Probably going to be keeping it's sensitivity high..." She thinks to herself, calming herself down instead of getting riled up.

As Theredil fought the droid, trying to keep it as far from him as possible, the robed being spoke with the one in charge of leading the control over the factory. "How is the Jedi faring?" he asked, reviewing the security footage. He saw Theredil backing up, hand raised as he used the Force to send back any attacks heading his way.

"As expected, considering the first droid has numerous prototype systems. He's been on the defense since the revelation that many of the droids internals are protected by cortosis. The saber is the only weaponry he apparently has, and that has been turned useless with the cortosis. It has a promising revelation, for jedi hunter squads." The voice spoke.
"How far you have fallen, unable to fight even a droid." The droid laughed, twirling its staff around. "If this is all the jedi are, you are done. My brothers and I will guarantee your death." It lunged forward, the ends of its staff sparking with electricity as it began its barrage of attacks.
SS-100 sat quietly, waiting for anything to move. "This. This is why a sniper needs proper equipment support."

Theredil turned, grabbing the staff by its handle. "I don't think so." He replied, taking his legs and pressing them against the droid's chest. "You Magna type droids are all alike. Central processor in your chest." Theredil began to push the droid away with his legs, pulling on the staff. He concentrated the Force to give himself strength like a Besalisk, trying to pull the droid's arms out.

"I hate snipers..." Sortaka thinks to herself, thinking about how to beat a sniper. "Well distracting is out, got shot in the leg for that. I doubt a smoke screen could work, and sadly I don't have any back up." The twi'lek thinks to herself, running through all the ways to beat a sniper with enough equipment to negate it's faults.

The droid let go of its staff, its other hand sparking with electricity as it slammed its fist straight into Theredil's chest. It continued its strike, driving Theredil into the metal floor with a heavy thud. "Really? Did you believe I would rather lose my arm than drop my weapon? Or that I wouldn't use such a blatant opening?" The droid asked, a cable shooting out from its palm to retrieve its staff. "You underestimate my maker."
"Any progress SS-100?" The voice spoke. "Yes and no. One possible target, but I've only put one round on. Haven't detected anything since, and thermal sensors aren't helping locate." SS-100 replied. "A boring but useful test, your brother is testing quite wonderfully. The modified combat protocols are proving exceptionally useful. Continue with your test, the J-1s have been quite effective breaking the wookie defense lines. About to begin the push on the left flank, and then pincer on the remaining forces."

Theredil coughed, getting back to his feet. He ignited his lightsaber, and stared at the droid. Theredil began backing away, until he turned and fully sprinted into the factory.

Sortaka took a breath and closed her eyes and focused, feeling the water near the factory and starting to summon up mist. As she continued to focus the mist rolled over the factory, steadily covering the entire area. "The force is with me, and with the force I can do good, and the good is helping the wookies and helping my master." She thinks to herself, knowing that personal stuff could be bad but remembering that before hand motivation to do the right thing can help out in massive ways as she continued to move the warm mist through the area, hoping it will confuse the sniper.

The droid moved to follow. "No, you did very well. Let your other brothers test. Other than the kill, you performed admirably." The voice spoke, the droid stopping immediately. "By your order. But if he gets past them, I will hunt him." The droid replied, his weapon returning to its storage size.
SS-100 switched over its sensors as the mist rolled in. "Oh great. Visibility is shot, and thermal won't help with diffusion through this." The droid complained. "You have methods to operate in zero visibility SS-100." The voice spoke. "I'm aware, doesn't mean I have to like dealing with it. I only have a dozen sonar spikes." SS-100 replied, flipping up a screen on his wrist. He clicked a few buttons, a number of dull-grey spikes popping up from the sand inside the mist. A low pitched hum filled the air, SS-100's eyes turning black as it synchronized with the spikes.

Sortaka felt something off as she used her force to finish the mist work as she got up, wincing a bit as she still felt the stinging pain in her lower calf and starting to move towards the factory as quickly as possible, trying to use the force to help move her way through the mist. "He's probably got a contingency here...gonna have to move quickly." She thinks to herself, using her force to help move faster even if her calf didn't want to agree.

Theredil looked to the factory floor, seeing the work droids move barrels and refining the oil. He remained in the shadows, keeping close to the wall.

SS-100 registered the movement, the pings giving him a path that he calculated as he leveled his rifle. The movement impacts were slightly staggered, a rushed movement of an injured animal. "Injured, and instead of retreating to get back-up the other jedi is pressing onwards. Like an idiot." He set his rifle, the crosshairs at the point he calculated the stride to land the uninjured limb. Just as it would land he fired.
Theredil heard the quiet groan of metal behind him, moments before something struck him in the back and sent him flying down to the floor. The other droids stopped, staring at the jedi as something heavy landed just behind him. "Jedi. Termination protocol thirteen-five." The hum of energy weapons filled the air, heavy metallic impacts as something slowly approached Theredil.

Sortaka pulled out her light saber, the blue blade suddenly appearing and deflected the bolt aiming for her good leg. "Probably those things I sensed are giving him a general idea of where I am..." She thinks to herself, turning off her lightsaber quickly. She continued forward, trying to keep focus and keep herself from acting like an injured animal. "Should have gotten back up. Just bare with it Sortaka, you can do this." She thinks to herself, ready for any shots to appear next.

Theredil turned, putting his lightsaber away. He knew he'd be facing a larger opponent, and he would need to rely on the Force for this battle.

Theredil had to continue looking upwards to find anything resembling a face, finding the visual sensors located on the front of a large shell that opened to reveal a pair of heavy blasters from a droideka. There were numerous joints and pistons along each leg, and a dozen legs holding the shell up. "Jedi Theredil, correct?" The droid asked, its voice harsh with a constant buzz.
"So you do your best to sneak in, and then give me a bright flare." SS-100 chuckled, flipping up the monitor on its wrist. "I will give you this much, you survive." He pressed a handful of buttons, a countdown starting on the screen as he leaned back. "Back-up plan then." The sand around Sortaka exploded upwards, half a dozen thermal detonators already beeping as they flew up out of now visible launch tubes. "I did enjoy the hunt, however minor the inconveniences you created. But I was made to be better." SS-100 spoke to no one as the mist exploded outwards, the thermal detonator's timers being drastically shortened.

"Very much so." Theredil replied. He began backing up, getting closer to the factory droids near the open barrels. Theredil kept his eyes focused on the sensors. "I presume you're working for the Sith in charge of this assault? Or, at least, an ally of General Grievous?"

Sortaka had her arms and hands up, the jedi panting as she protected herself from the blast with a force bubble "I request aid...beach near the factory..." Sortaka says over her comms. "Please, anyone that can get here as fast as they can...it would be much appreciated." She says, starting to back up and regretting her choice of trying to sneak in. She backed away, trying to keep up her little barrier to keep herself from getting shot as she tried to retreat.

"Oh wow, that many detonators and still in one piece? Quite a powerful jedi indeed." SS-100 said, watching Sortaka disappear into the mist. He didn't bother raising his rifle again, seeing as his target was retreating.
"Sith? I do not recognize this term, or Grievous. Such information is unimportant to me. Commander said kill Jedi Theredil." The droid spoke ominously, the barrels of its weapons glowing. "I obey my orders." It rushed forward, its size belying its speed as two of its limbs shot forward at Theredil during the rush.

Darth Solasus watched from the security footage, watching as Theredil used the Force to throw oil beneath the legs of the droid and grab some of the others to try to throw it off balance. "I won't lose myself to fear." Theredil had said to the droid. Solasus grimaced, staring at the screen. "You shall die here, Jedi..." he muttered, grabbing his lightsaber. "Either by my blade or from these upgraded prototypes." "On our way, General." came the voice of a clone. "We're following the Wookies, they have a plan already."

"Sweet lord almighty." She sighs out, falling to the ground and resting her back to a tree. "That took a lot out of me....that's the last time I try something by myself." She mutters to herself, taking deep slow breaths and trying to get her strength back even after being shot in the leg and protecting herself from a massive amount of explosives.

"Thank you." Sortaka says. "But I'm gonna need a doctor...or three." She says honestly. "There's a sniper keeping track of the outside of the factory, it has a ton of options to fight against most counter sniper moves...and I'm worried there's more then just the one." She warns them just in case.

The ends of the limbs Theredil grabbed split open, razor sharp blades spinning as it tried pushing them towards Theredil. Its other limbs stabbed through the metal of the floor and scaffold around them, although it was too close for its blaster barrels to focus on to Theredil. "Ahh, in overcompensating stability the firing cones intersect too far for proper utility in close range." The voice from earlier spoke. "That will be modified before the plans go to production. For now modify combat protocol for blaster usage with the restricted firing cones." "Modifying protocols." The droid spoke, its main shell twisting to level one of the sets of blaster barrels at Theredil. It fired twice, the first shot going wide past Theredil as it continued to struggle against its restricted movement. The second went straight for Theredil.
"I pushed back the second intruder, but I doubt I can hold them alone if they come in force." SS-100 spoke over comms. "Any way I can get a platoon over here? Or fire support?" "We can't spare any of the frontline, and the J-1s would take too long to set back up." The voice spoke. "I'll see what I can move that way, but I can't promise you a lot of heavy fire." "What about the X-Ts?" SS-100 asked. "I said I'll see. For now, keep them busy. Make it hard for them to advance, but do not risk yourself."

Theredil barely dodged the blast, feeling the heat of it graze his body. "Impressive. But, I cannot allow this type of droid to go through full production." Theredil continued to focus, clearing his mind. A few more of the oil barrels flew towards the droid, flung open with oil flying at the spider droid. Solasus began biting down on his teeth, but let the Jedi fight the droid.
Outside the factory, the 212th Attack Legion began flooding the factory from all sides except the front. They came running from the forest, firing upon any droids they saw. A hundred Wookies swung from the trees, flinging themselves from vines and over the walls. They gave out loud war cries, brandishing large, heavy grade blasters made from their planet.

"Well...there's the cavalry." The blue twi'lek says before getting up with effort. "Remember guys, we don't know what sort of traps these guys have, so stay on your toes." She says over the comms, not sure if she should go back into the fray so the people wouldn't die even if she was injured.

Two of the remaining free limbs knocked the barrels aside, the bladed limbs slowly pressing forwards towards Theredil in his momentary shift of concentration. "Accept the inevitable, Jedi Theredil. You will fall." The droid spoke.
"All according to plan, they charged like morons." SS-100 spoke, the sounds of metal cracking as numerous pitfalls collapsed beneath most of the wookies. They fell a dozen yards onto sharpened metal rods, the few lucky enough to have gotten beyond the pitfalls quickly coming under heavy fire from numerous droidekas that had been hiding in the courtyard of the factory. "Let's test the prototypes." SS-100 mumbled, tapping a few buttons on the screen on its wrist. A warning symbol flashed on the screen, turning green as numerous spots around the factory spat sand upwards. Large turrets popped up from the sand, the tops spinning before spewing out blaster fire like a heavy repeater in every direction around them.

Theredil focused back on the droid, pushing it into the ground. He remained calm, and tried pointing to the oil spilled on the ground. "I may fall today, but not here." Theredil focused the droid's blasters at the floor, staring at the sensors. Solasus turned to the general, and said, "The Master Jedi is most persistent. The droid will not survive against him."
Several LAAT's flew overhead, firing missiles at outside of the factory.

"That is the reason for testing the prototypes. But you're also incorrect sir." The voice spoke. "Unlike the clones, the jedi tend to fight without any sort of visors or helmets. They are much more susceptible to this particular droid."
The droid's back shell opened, revealing a hose looking device with two bulbs on either side. The hose swiveled, aimed directly at Theredil. The bulbs flashed, everything turning white as something wet hit Theredil's face and momentarily broke his concentration. The sound of metal skittering became audible, something heavy hitting Theredil and sending him flying into one of the metal walls.
A number of blasters rang out from the courtyard, the bolts intercepting a number of the missiles before they could hit the wall. The few that got through opened holes, through which a number of modified J-1 cannons were visible. They had multiple barrels, albeit smaller than the heavy artillery versions common for the J-1 model. At their ends were a number of power cables, leading off into the factory. The modified J-1s leveled their barrels out of the holes in the factory walls, their barrels glowing before the barrage of laser blasts began swallowing the few remaining foot troops that could be targeted through the wall breaches.

Theredil coughed, groaning as he got back to his feet. He thought of retreating, and raised his comm link to his mouth. "Sortaka..." he coughed out. "Get back to your ship. Get back to the Venator and retreat if you can... we will do our best to defeat the droid forces here." Theredil began to wipe his eyes, trying to gain back some of his vision.
