The LAATs flew to the forest clearing made by the Wookies. Theredil looked out of the port door, looking down onto the forest. He could see the platoon of Wookies guarding the clearing. "Pilot, land us nearby! Let the others know that they'll need to hover above!" "Right away sir!" called back the pilot. He landed them nearby, the other ships hovering above or flying patrols around the clearing. Theredil walked over to the Wookies, bowing to the leader. The leader gave several grunts, arms crossed. "Yes, I understand your situation, great leader. The Republic has sent the 212th Attack legion with several battalions." The leader grunted several more times. "Yes sir, I see." Theredil replied. "The Separatist invasion won't be a successful one, I can assure you."

The sound of a whistle rang through the air, the pitch slowly dropping before one of the ships exploded above them. "The marking shell was successful, continue firing salvos. I want everything under where the ships were circling leveled after they're dealt with." The voice spoke to the hologram of the T-series in charge of the J-1s. "The secondary battery is to begin fire support on the right flank. Before they can reinforce the wookies."

"All ships, land in the forest! Find room to land, quickly!" the pilot of the landed LAAT called out. Smoke rose from the East, the ship that was shot landing there. "Sortaka, we will need assistance. One of the ships was shot down by an unknown source, try to fly somewhere and land where the ships aren't circling overhead of the clearing." Theredil said over his comm link. He relayed extra instructions to the pilot, who repeated them to the other ships. "The general wants all Troopers to meet up in the clearing!" the pilot said to the others.

"That's not good." Sortaka mutters before rushing off to find a ship to land with. "I knew there had to be a reason they had to fly into the forest." She thinks to herself, skidding past the hangar bay and rushing in.

Numerous more shells continued to rain down, hitting both the ships as they descended and the forest beneath where they had been circling. "Two more salvos, then have battery one move to supporting the left flank. Battery two, cease fire while the right flank advances on the shelled positions. For now, you're fire support for the middle and right flanks if they need it."

Theredil dashed to the forest, ditching his robe and leaping into the trees. He looked to the sky, trying to find the direction the attacks were coming from. He pulled out a holo-communicator, signaling Yune. "Admiral! Several attacks have taken out three LAATs, and have hit the field!" The Wookie leader took his small squadron into the trees, hiding inside the forest. "General, we'll begin tracking the heat signature from the velocity of the shots. It may take a while." Admiral Yune replied. "All I'll need is several minutes." Theredil grabbed his lightsaber, and began heading towards the beachhead factory.

Sortaka flew down in her own star fighter, flying down a bit away from where the LAAT's where shot down. The twi'lek heard beeping from her droid, talking about how much of a bad idea this was. "I know R9 I know, but we have to go down there and help." Sortaka says to her droid, the turquoise R9 droid giving a little sass to her. "No need for the sass R9, just help me land this thing before we're spotted and shot at." She says before finding a nice spot to land in as the ship flew swiftly through the air and into the forest, landing gently on the forest floor. "Alright R9, if you see any droids trying to come our way get out of here alright?" She asks while the droid gives a few peeps of confirmation. "Alright, let's go." She says while the cockpit opens up and she hops out, landing onto the forest floor and ditching her cloak before bolting off to where her master and the others might have landed.

Theredil looked at the beachhead factory, trying to see if any Droid patrols were going on around the factory.

"It looks like all the fun players are on the field." The voice spoke, pulling up the various T-series on his hologram. "Move to phase two of the plan." "Already sir? We have only just taken and reinforced the right flank." "I know what I ordered. Either move to phase two, or remove yourself from your command." The voice spoke.
The factory was seemingly undefended, a paltry handful of droids patrolling the perimeter.

Sortaka sensed something was off, not the fact that she could sense her master running full speed somewhere as was herself but something did feel off. "Master? Do you read?" She asks over her comms, hoping he's alright.

"Yes, Sortaka." Theredil replied. "I'm observing the factory, the Separatists already have control over it." He began to climb down from the tree, staying within the foliage and out of sight.

"All positions have been locked down, we aren't going anywhere." The T-series replied. "Good, the batteries are to resume fire support with intermittent softening attacks. Do not allow any of the enemy to gather enough to try an assault. The forward squad is in the facility already, getting it operational again." The voice spoke. "Thermal tripwires have gone off near the facility, the forward squad has been notified of the guests they'll likely be getting." "A lot of your plan hinges on your special units, sir." "They need a testing run, and this is a perfect trial." The voice replied. "That is why I have the units at each of the important objectives. No matter what they go after, they will be properly tested."

"No, nothing yet. I will scout along the area, meet me at the balcony closest to the top of the facility." Theredil said, sneaking towards the factory. He noticed several threats, most notably a large wall made from what looked like Mustafarian metals.

"Be careful master, I sense something wrong here..." Sortaka says, continuing to bolt through the forest towards her destination.

A chill crept up Theredil's spine, the feeling of numerous eyes on him as he moved. Everything went quiet, even the sounds from the factory ceasing.
"Welcome our guest with all the respect due to a jedi." The voice spoke, looking at the image of Theredil from the cameras at the facility.
The sound of a rifle firing reached Theredil's ears a moment before the ground in front of him exploded.

Theredil leapt to the side, and used the Force to leap to the top of the wall. He grabbed the ledge, and stared at the tallest tower. Theredil leapt towards a window of the foreman's building. Guided by the Force, Theredil sent himself through the window.
On a planet farther away from Coruscant than Kashyyk was, a man sat in a meditation chamber in a palace. He was wearing nothing more than simple, light training gear. Dark, natural tattoos rested around the man's silver eyes. A droid walked in, saying, "Forgive me, Master, but you have a message from Kashyyk." "Put it through," said the man, his voice shrill like a Trandoshan. A holoprojector began displaying an image in front of the man. "Mastuh, it seems de invasion of Kashyyk is going as planned." said the robed being. "De Wookies have summoned help as we expected." "Good. I will be discussing some arrangements with the Geonosions before your next assignment." said the once meditating man. "Yes, my Mastuh." said the robed man before the transmission ceased. "I expect dinner to be ready." The Master rose from his spot, following the droid out of the meditation chamber. "Yes, sir. The table's been set. If you'd like to know, your meal for tonight is Bantha Steak with Bantha Milk."

"Welcome, Jedi. It never ceases to amaze me how easily manipulated you all are." A hologram appeared in front of Theredil, a large hooded figure sitting in a chair. "Despite all other issues, I foremostly recognize your capabilities. It is because of those that you are the greatest field test." The crackling of energy filled the air as a durasteel shutter closed behind him, the plates crackling with energy. "I have a number of prototypes for you to test. Should you win, you will be allowed to leave. But statistically speaking, that won't happen. Do try to survive as long as you can though, I need a lot of data points." The voice spoke, the hologram cutting out as a large droid stepped forward. The droid drew an extending metal rod from within its chassis, the ends crackling with energy as it swung its staff around its body. "Draw your weapon, Jedi." The droid spoke, its voice low.

Sortaka looked at the entire station and glared, knowing her master was there but stuck somewhere. "Master do you read me?" Sortaka asks over her comms, hoping it will reach and it won't be jammed.

"I am one with the Force..." Theredil said, drawing out his lightsaber. He pushed the comm link on his arm, saying, "I hear you, my apprentice." He ignited the lightsaber, a long silver blade shooting out of the end.

The droid rushed forward, its hand spinning its staff. It stopped a few feet from Theredil, swinging its staff horizontally. Its other hand moved forward as well, its palm opening to reveal a set of extending prongs that were sparking with energy.
The sound of a rifle went off, the tree next to Sortaka exploding in a burst of red. "I don't enjoy the fact that twice now you have missed." The voice spoke to a droid at the top of the factory, raising its rifle. "Do I need to readjust your targeting protocols?" "Not at all sir. The first target was driven into the facility as you requested, to test your other models against a true jedi. But within the treeline, my thermal sensors only give me approximates. If I had more of the sensors I could be more accurate, but with the resources available being split amongst myself and my brothers I will make due." "I expect great things of you, SS-100. I have promised great things of you." The voice spoke as the droid lowered its rifle again.

Sortaka dashed around, wondering how the fuck they knew she was here. "That's not good...thermal maybe? Droids would have that..." She mutters, trying to assess the situation as she kept her head down and tried to find a way to find where the blast came from instead of just running down their like a headless chicken.

Theredil's lightsaber cut through the covering plates of the droid's hand, but began sputtering as the droid swung its arm and threw Theredil to the other side of the room. The plating of its arm was rent, although the black underplating was untouched. The droid tested its hand, its fingers all still fully functional. "Lovely metal, isn't it? Cortosis, that is. It isn't smart to create full body plates, considering the rarity, but protecting the valuable components drastically reduces the costs. Use titanium alloys for the shell, resistant to quite a lot of blaster fire. I wouldn't say we could deploy entire platoons of these things, but a dozen on a battlefield. That could turn the tide of any engagement. So long as it tests good here, against a jedi." The voice from earlier spoke, laughing as the audio cut out. "If you beg for mercy now, I might give it to you." The droid taunted, its wrist twisting its staff. It lunged across the distance, extending its staff this time in a forward strike.
Sortaka caught the glint of a scope from the top of the building as another shot rang out, missing her by inches. "Right on the edge of the range on my thermals, no independent scanners, and he expects a miracle." SS-100 grumbled, messing with the scope on its rifle. "Switching over to movement tracking, pushing the thermal to rough localizing." He leveled his rifle where he had lest seen the target, his eyes switching from red to purple as the sensors clicked over.

Theredil shook his head. "Perhaps another solution?" he suggested, moving his lightsaber. He began moving along the corridor, eyes kept on the droid. Theredil began to concentrate the Force around him.

Sortaka saw where the thing was shooting and used the force to fling a rock towards where she saw the glint very fast as she kept herself down. "This isn't good, I doubt I can keep moving while a sniper is on me..." She thinks to herself, trying to move and keep herself from being an easy target to a sniper.

The droid lifted its hand, the electric prongs extending from its palm. Lightning arced across the prongs, a screeching sound tearing down the hall and blurring Theredil's vision as it tore past. At the same time the droid lunged forward, thrusting its staff arcing with energy towards Theredil's leg.
SS-100 ducked its head to the side as the rock flew past, its sensors calculating its source trajectory. It zeroed in on where it came from, the motion discrepancy sensors tracking the slight movement of the under brush. "A fatal mistake, but it is far too early to go for a kill." SS-100 laughed, firing a shot into what he calculated to be the lower limb of a bipedal creature.

Theredil, eyes shut, took the Force he focused around himself, and exploded it into a repulsion field. He squinted, staring toward the droid. "I'm surprised General Grievous isn't here to lead the droids himself."

Sortaka yelped in pain, feeling the searing pain in her left lower right calf after being shot but biting down on her lower lip, trying to shut herself up and not scream and give away her position even if it was already given away. "This isn't the worst pain I've been." She thinks to herself, trying to get to cover so she wasn't an easy target.
