I kept walking along, Howard saying something about how he didn't want the equipment damaged if the case of items moving was true. Truth be told, I just awaited the time which I'd get to sleep. No nightmares plagued me, and I plagued no sweet dreams of gum drops and love, nor bonuses and promotions.

'Now, if you follow me, next I'll show you the exhibition hall about the house in the old dining room,' he said as he led them towards a door to the side of the hall. Inside was a large well decorated room with display cabinets all around.

"Now, this is grand!" I shouted with glee, nearly running around with joy in the hall. It felt invigorating, to run around like a child who was just taken to the toy story. That glee which took over me made me feel happy.

Janice and Kyle nod, following along and looking around. "Still amazing."

'Everything in this room was owned by the family. On that wall there is a collection of every alleged photograph of a ghost taken here. This is also where you can set up your base of operations if you wish.'

"I'll set the equipment up in here after the tour," says Howard. I thought him the fool for even suggesting that, and told him exactly why. "Wrong. Ghosts come in here, break the glass, and you'll be showering in your own blood, me brother." I say to him. And I was serious, despite my wavering beliefs on those from the afterlife.

"What?" Kyle frowns at his partner, wondering why his walking stick wielding partner is saying that for. Janice just sighs out. "Don't mind him."

Jonathan showed them the kitchen areas, but nothing much of note happened there. He then lead them up the servant's staircase to the servant rooms. 'These have been unused for a number of years. People don't often come into this place. Some rooms are used for storage, but that's all. The only odd thing is that all the servants who lived and worked here disappeared at the same time as the rest of the family. Some say that they are still here in their rooms.'

'There aren't actually any beds left up here, but follow me. I can show you the main bedrooms, the ones where the family slept in and you can too,' he said, turning to open a small door. He ducked though it and made a sudden turn out into a long grand hallway lined with paintings.

"Seems a little too clean for what this place has to offer." Kyle mutters, continuing to follow along with their guide. "Yeah just a tad." Janice nods.

'Each of these rooms were where the family slept,' he said. 'They were turned into the main guest rooms during the building's time as a hotel.' He stopped in front of a room with a number 3 on it's door. 'This is the room where Elizabeth Harrington slept. She is the one who was allegedly possessed and caused the misfortune that befell on this building.' He unlocked it and slowly pushed it open revealing a good sized room with a large four-post bed, a wonky wardrobe and a small fireplace. Thin rays of golden light flowed though the window, darkening all where they didn't fall.

"Well...who want's to sleep here?" Kyle asks honestly. "Hmm..." Janice takes a moment to think like she's complimenting the thought of her just sleeping here.

I spoke up, saying how we should sleep here if we were to want quarters close to the dinning hall. Howard scoffed at my proposition, but I reminded him how he hadn't spoken up at all for the past few minutes. I smiled, seeing how many small apparitions danced along my side, the one thing the others could not see without their equipment. I thought to myself, 'I'm glad I'm the psychic of this rag-tag group. Wonder how long it is until the rest realize it.' Oh bliss, many a thought perverted my mind with what kinds of specters we'd be meeting, and some subtle thoughts of my lovely Janice.

"He's got that look in his eye again." Kyle whispers to Janice. "He's off in his world again." Janice whispers back. "That's why we have him here since he can help see things. Now if he can also stop thinking terrible things about me that would be grand." She grumbles, knowing some of his crap.

'The dining hall is just down that staircase and to the right,' Jonathan said. 'I'll show you the other rooms.' He did, going room by room, each one different sizes and furnished in a number of different ways. At the far end was the master bedroom with large windows that looked out over the town. 'Also on this floor are bathrooms, the study and a small sitting room. Now, let's go back down to see the rest of the ground floor, and then I'll show you the basement.'

I followed along with the group, trying my best not to stare at my sweet's rear as it swayed and danced with her hips. "Excuse me, sir, do you know when we'll be able to eat? It's almost noon and I had to skip on me breakfast, today." Howard gave off a small groan, telling me, "We'll eat when we can, James." "Good, but we're getting fast food if that's the attitude I'm getting from you, Howard." I said, poking his chest with my walking stick.

'You can order food and feel free to visit the local shops,' he said. 'Now, follow me to the basement.' He walked over to a wall behind the kitchen and opened it revealing a dark stone staircase descending underground. Jonathan flicked a light switch and it didn't improve the brightness by much.

I walked down into the basement, not caring about the darkness. The basement was dark, it's long passageways twisted with age and dimly lit rooms, lined with shelves full of forgotten items sat to the sides. 'It's like a maze down here,' Jonathan said. 'Follow me.' He started walking down one of the passageways.

Jonathan lead them towards a far corner, at the end was a sealed metal door. 'Behind this door is the oldest part of the basement. It's the room where the hotel guests were found murdered, and it's very likely the room where the bodies of the Harringtons and their staff were found.' He reached forwards and undid the bolt.

"If it smells like dead bodies I'm out." Janice frowns. "Yeah that would be a second on me." Kyle nods, knowing that smelling dead bodies is not the number one thing he'd like not to hit his senses first.
