"Alright, what am I here for, lad?" asked Brynjolf, arms crossed. His Thieve's Guild armor felt heavy, though he figured it was due to the weather.

"There should be another one here..." The man says with a frown. "I believe you mean me?" Someone says while hoping off of Brynjolf. "Sly Cooper at your service." He says while tipping his berret a bit. "Thank you two for coming. Now, I want you both to steal something for me." The man says with a frown. "Wow, actually being asked to steal something instead of just doing it anyways. That's a first." Sly chuckles a little. "This isn't a laughing matter. A family heirloom of mine was stolen, and I'm worried what they might do with what they've just invoked..." He says worriedly.

"Alright, what is it we're getting? More importantly, what'll our cut be?" Brynjolf asked, shortsword at his side.

"How about why you said 'what horror's they invoked'?" Sly points out, keeping his cane in his hand. "That's not important. You'll both be getting a special amulet that looks like a golden dragon." He says with a nod. "And your cut will be plenty of gold for all the trouble."

"Now you're talking my language. How much coin, to be exact?"

"Enough to make you stop stealing for a long time." He says in all honesty. "Well if you think that's true." Sly shrugs. "Even though I have an entire vault full of treasures since ancient times..." Sly thinks to himself, knowing this amount of gold won't cut it for his thieving skills. "But again, what is so special about this amulet? No one just randomly steals an amulet without it being special." Sly states. "Just bring it back and you'll get your money. That's what thieves are right?" He frowns. "This guy maybe, but not me." Sly is serious here, having been through too much magical crap to not be curious. "If you don't want an ancient dragon to destroy the land then go." He frowns. "Thank you." Sly nods, ready to head off.

"Now, hold on a second. I don't take on jobs without knowing the full details. What's so special about this amulet anyways?" Brynjolf asked, arms remaining crossed.

"Alright." The man nods. "The amulet is special because it holds a gem in it, and that gem contains the soul of a dragon." "Whoa whoa whoa, a dragon spirit is stuck in a gem in the amulet?" Sly frowns a bit. "Yes, and I'm afraid the one's that stole the gem from me are planing a ritual to summon the dragon. Little do they know that when they summon the dragon they will be the first to burn. Then....it'll search the world for a nice place to stay at home and take trips..." "To burn and kill everyone else in the world?" Sly takes a guess. "Yes." He nods.

"Sounds like a problem. How much coin exactly are we getting again? Because my associates and I don't do this kind of stuff for a small payment." Brynjolf said, grinning.

"Plenty." He says. "Don't you think saving the world is a little better then getting paid?" Sly frowns a little. "I'll give you twenty thousand gold coins." He says. "Each."

"Thirty." Brynjolf replied, showing the Thieves Guild insignia on his armor.

"You'll get that extra ten from stealing from the bastards that want to end the world." He points out.

"Alright." Brynjolf replied, smiling as he walked out of the room. "Come on, lad. We need to get going."

"Alright." He nods while walking off. "Hey Bently, you got all that?" He whispers, knowing his communicator was up during the entire conversation. "Yes Sly, I got every word." Bently the turtle says over the communicator which the other thief couldn't hear. "It's amazing how a single gem could hold someone's soul...let alone a dragon's." "Yeah, well can you do some digging on this entire thing? This sounds pretty serious and I'd rather not go in blindly with another group of thieves." Sly whispers while his brainy friend agrees and starts doing his research. "But the names Sly Cooper, what's your name?" Sly asks casually while following along with the guy. (If your guy can have his guild Sly can have his buddies as well)

"Brynjolf, lad." He replied, striding down the halls of the employer.

"Yeah I think I heard of you, second in command of the thieves guild right?" Sly asks. "Well at least I know I'm not with some two bit thief here am I right?" Sly chuckles a little, keeping up with the Nord's strides.

"Yes, but don't try anything funny, lad." Brynjolf replied, his ebony sword resting at his side.

"What, me? Oh you have little faith." Sly jokes a bit. "But don't worry, me and my friends won't do anything 'funny'. Alright?"

"Well..." Sly takes a moment to think. "Do you have any? Just making sure we both have something to contribute here." Sly says, not sure if Bently has any intel on where it might be just yet.

"Sadly not, but I have an idea. Stealth our way to the amulet, no killing."

"Sounds good to me. I try my best not to kill people anyways." Sly shrugs. "But I think we should start with a little recon, not just up and sneaking our way through the place in one go."

Brynjolf nodded, saying, "I'll get some more reinforcements, if needed. You can do the recon."

"Sounds like a plan." Sly says while rushing off, jumping and hoping on impossible ledges for any normal thief. After a bit he got to a high enough ledge and pulled out his binocucom. "So, got any news about our special amulet Bently?" He asks, searching the massive area for wherever these guys were. "Apparently the amulet is an ancient relic that once was a symbol of the dragon's most trusted advisors when dragons once ruled..." "Then a revolt happened and they shoved it's soul in it?" Sly finishes. "Yeah just about." Bently says. "That's not good..." He frowns, while getting more of a rundown on what the dragon's did a long ass time ago and all that jazz. "That's even worse." He frowns while finding the bad guys base about fifteen miles away. "Hold on, I'll be back, just got to get a closer look into our bad guy's lair." Sly says while putting it away and jumping off it, pulling out a glider and heading straight to the place in question.

Brynjolf went into the shadows, his Thieves Guild armor cloaking him. "Karliah, I know you're there. I may need some help with this job we've been given." "What kind of job?" Karliah asked, moving out of the shadows in the alley. "We're stealing an amulet, which is supposedly dangerous, lass. Your bow would be most helpful." Brynjolf smiled, Karliah nodding in return. "Also, inform Delvin and Vex that we'll need their help as well."

"This place is pretty tight on security for an ancient temple...albeit I've seen worse in a freaking swamp." Sly thinks to himself, sneaking around and hoping off of beams and chandeliers with expert precision as he saw guards all over the place and a view trip wires and lasers. "Let's how Bryn get's help cause I don't even think my gang can do this alone." Sly thinks to himself while jumping out a window silently and up even more without being detected once.
