(Shadow, you said it creaked and moved. That was it.) "Don't know. Maybe some new body parts for me to use..." said Miss Match, feeling her legs beginning to wear thin. "Or some food for No Face." "Ah? Ah." said No Face, his mouth licking its lips. "What's inside?" Blade Wing asks honestly. (I said it was open earlier, but okay.) There wasn't anything in the entry area, but it was the first of many rooms. Nothing was alive in there, though the spirits and ponies outside didn't know that... Or what the purpose of the thing was.

"Can you please not say that? Because seriously...we don't know if you mean that literally or we should vomit..." Silver Wing frowns a little. (Also, Silver and Blade Wing are brothers just so you know)

"Well, they call me the Miss-Match spirit for a reason. Don't exactly have similar body parts." said Miss-Match, giggling a little. "And I'm a Spirit, so I can change my body parts as I please." No Face started heading in, deciding to go find if there was anything in there.

A recorded, cheerful female voice said.

Dan cussed under his breath, "Great, just what I needed, more idiotic power fantasies..." He muttered, chambering a round into his Thirty. It was a steel core round, perfect for light armour. Dan pulled the action all the way back, extracting the round and quickly opening one of the tac-packs on his crewman costume, having kept some factory-grade corrosive cleaner for the authenticity, now he could put it to some use. A quick swipe and load before centering his aim on one of the smaller Orks, Dan held his breath, waiting.

The large creature was silent behind the two, having followed their trail through the forest. The large thing was familiar, but only in the sense that it stirred his hunger even more. He walked past the two he had been following, his claws clicking together as he approached the group around the entrance.

SmashSkull turned and walked away, grumbling angrily and shoving anyone who got in his way out of it. He was huffing up a storm as he searched for his Nobs in the bowels of the Kill Kruisa, just wanting this to end and find something worth his time.

Express kept low, having shed the tux at the bunker and had most of her olive-camo fur showing for concealment, kept watch for her comrade, the Thirty slung over her shoulder and her Glock out. Her ears flicked, having heard something behind them but remained quiet in order to not startle whatever was hunting them and Dan.

Her ears flicked, having heard something behind them but remained quiet in order to not startle whatever was hunting them and Dan. The sound of roaring and rage was easily heard by the two, with the source being the Orks in the Kruiser. The wind blew sand and dust into their faces, blocking their vision somewhat.
"Really, boss?" MegaNob CrushArm said, absolutely stunned. "Yes, CrushArm, they can't fix it. And if they can't fix it, then we're gonna hafta head somewhere else." SmashSkull replied. He had told his most trusted Nob what had happened before the rest of the Nobz and Boyz. "Well... Does that mean we might have a WAAAGH!, boss?" CrushArm asked, sounding excited. At the mere mention of the possibility of a WAAAGH!, SmashSkull managed to smile. "Possibly, CrushArm, possibly. Tell da other Nobz and Boyz, and get them to tell everyork else!" The Captain said before wandering off to inform the rest of his warband.

"Fuck..." Dan hissed, lowering the rifle. He was a good shot but he wasn't anywhere close to a sniper's degree of accuracy and professionalism when it came to hitting targets that were obscured, much less ones that were behind a sandstorm. Express was equally tense as she kept scanning the vegetation behind the two, struggling to keep her wings pinned to her back as fear and dread began to take hold. Keep it together, Eagle! You've been in combat before, this is nothing. Express mentally chided herself after taking a breath and letting it out slowly while Dan kept his sights trained on the situation. Wait, how is there a sandstorm here anyways? She thought after taking a quick peek at the scene below them.

The Orks were learning of their major problem, but the Mekboyz had brought up that, with enough time, they might actually be able to fix the engines without replacements due to a closer inspection.

Miss-Match and No Face walked about the container, scavenging. "Find anything yet?" Miss-Match called out.
"Ah, ah. Eh." said No Face, shaking his head.
From outside the container, a tall, elf like woman sighed. "Equestrians, Orks. Both are stupid, to senses." she said, pinching the bridge of her nose. "No wonder my people are more advanced than they who walk this plane." She brushed her bright blue hair away from one eye, covering the other. She laid on a rock bed, her dark skin contrasting with her hair.

The Child of Sal'em sprinted past them, a high whine filling their ears before it shot off through the air towards the ship. Something inside was calling to him, making him hungry. He landed with a hard thud on the top, bringing his claws down and ripping through the metal plating like a hot knife through butter.

The woman's ears perked up, hearing the whine of the Child. "A Child of Sal'em, here? Well, anything is possible..." she said, rising from her stone bed. She walked toward where she heard the Child, her feet touching the ground beneath her. As she walked, she left behind a small trail of shadows and darkness.

He landed with a hard thud on the top, bringing his claws down and ripping through the metal plating like a hot knife through butter. It emerged into a group of Grots and Snotlings which began to panic and throw things at it. Gas, nitrogen, extremely cold objects, anything they could grab, they threw. An alarm sounded, and most Orks took this as a call to battle, but some (including the Mekboyz, Smashskull, and the Nobs) decided that whatever could do that was too dangerous to tackle. They were smart as they ran for their BattleWagons and tanks, getting in and preparing to take off. (SmashSkull isn't your average Ork- he thinks before fighting.)

Daniel kept lower to the ground, backing off slightly as he saw the creature that was approaching the Orks. "What the hell is that?" He whispered as Express backed up against him, shivering. "We should leave. I don't think that thirty-ought-six would do anything to that." Express replied, waiting for Dan to get up and ready himself for the run back. If anything were to go wrong, at least they would have some sort of bunker to fall back on.

Astonishingly, a door on the side opened, and three BattleWagons spewed out, followed by multiple Deff Dreads, Looted Leman Russes, Trukks, Fighta-Bombers, and twenty Looted Rhinos. Some of them were retreating!

They were blazing towards the forest at astonishing speed for such crude vehicles.

(Looked one up and I'm considering taking a plane and finding the asshole who designed it before beating some common sense into him with the stock of a Mossberg.) Daniel had gotten to his feet and followed his panicked pegasus pal out of the vicinity, the latter sprinting as fast as she could without using her wings. Dan could only keep up for so long before the two of them were at the bunker, not exactly in the peak of health. Eagle was panting heavily, the combined effects of the latent magic, her own fear and anxiety and the overexerted workout, and leaned against the metal bunker's wall. "D-Dan? What the buck was that... thing?" Eagle asked between breaths, looking at her comrade with focused eyes, her dilated pupils shown against her fiery amber irises. Daniel shook his head, "I don't have a clue, my dear." He said, coughing a little as he regained his composure.

A Fighta-Bomber flew over their heads, engines sputtering as it began to turn for the forest. Smoke was streaming out of its poorly made engines, and multiple shouts and yells could be heard from the inside of it. Then, a door on it blew open, and a Mekboy was blasted backward before it began to fall towards the two. Smoke and dust blurred the couple's vision again. Meanwhile, the Ork vehicles were dissapearing into the Everfree Forest.

"Contact!" Both Dan and Express yelled at once, readying their Thirtys and waiting for a proper shot on the Ork that landed. Dan still had a corrosive round chambered, aiming for the thin points of the Ork's natural armour while Express simply aimed for center mass. They opened fire as soon as they caught another glimpse of the creature, with Express jamming the trigger of her rifle and switching to her pistol due to how fast she fired in a panic. Dan, however, maintained a steady stream of shots, taking a full second in between each shot to aim, relax and fire again until the fifteen rounds were expended. "Empty! Reloading." He announced as he kneeled down and Express got next to him, her pistol trained on the Ork, readied to fire. She fired the first two shots at center mass again, the .40 Smith and Wesson rounds doing little to break armour but had enough kinetic energy to stun. She hoped. Dan had kept the empty mag in a pouch and drew another one, loading it and cocking the rifle. "Ready!" He announced before continuing to target the Ork.

The Mekboy shouted after getting up from the ground, noticing the bullets hitting him. The corrosive ones actually registered in his mind, hurting him fairly, but the .40s were like pebbles thrown at an elephant. The ork laughed as he asked, "Is this supposed to hurt?!," before opening fire with a Shoota and running at the two. The Mekboy had a massive, wrench-like tool in his left hand, which he was swinging wildly as he charged. The creature bared his fangs, which gleamed a putrid brown in the light.

"Cover!" Dan yelled as he and Express backed off, getting behind the steel of the bunker's outside walls. Express had unjammed her rifle and reloaded, this time with steel core rounds that she had salvaged from the small safe outside the bunk. Dan walked slowly while approaching the Ork, his eyes glazed over as he kept the fire up at one round a second, almost mechanical despite Express's pleas. "Dan! Come back here!" Express screamed, after turning and seeing that her comrade was on a suicidal walk towards the Ork, completely uncaring of pain and fear. "Dan! Please! Snap out of it!" She screamed again, her eyes tearing up. She was too scared to go after him and too scared to let him die. She fired off a few rounds at the Ork, "Hey, ugly! Over here!" Express yelled, aiming at the Ork's head, hoping that Dan would have some extra time to snap out of it.

The Ork shouted almost gleefully as it started to run faster, swinging its wrench more violently then before, though he was slowly starting to register the steel for rounds that were (somewhat) penetrating his skin and armor. The Ork decided it would eat the feather creature later- it'd probably taste better than a fried Squig.

Dan swiftly evaded the first swipe of the wrench and used his rifle as a parrying tool, catching the hunk of metal as it come down again before distributing the force to the side, denting the rugged pig iron body of the rifle but not much else. He holstered the rifle and drew the prop Serro, the blades of the once simply electrical toy clicking into scrapping position and glowing with a blue field around it, polarized magic. "Organic scrap detected. Harvest." Daniel announced in a mechanical tone as he shifted the helmet from his right shoulder over his head, the bullet-proof box being now actually metal instead of a plastic prop. A similar thing happened to his scrap armour as well, instead of being the aluminium foil it was before, it had become rugged, iron based scrap metal. He spun the polearm around once and prepared to duel with the Ork, despite Express's shots and shouts, wanting him to get back.

"Now DIS is a fight!" He shouted as he dropped his Shoota, grabbed his wrench with both of his hands, and swung. It connected with Dan's weapon, letting out a colossal CLANG![/b] as it did so. The Ork laughed joyfully.

Dan's arms shook from the sheer force but he remained standing, a scan from even an X-ray would have shown multiple shock fractures through his system but that didn't seem to affect him as he simply drew the Serro and began to slice the wrench in two, the metal turning a shade of eerie blue after the plasma got in contact with it, melting the iron and steel instantly. How they weren't fried by the surge of energy was still unknown. Express, however, was weeping as she fired. Her comrade would most surely die, if not in battle, then on a gurney. She reloaded her rifle, taking aim and firing at the Ork's skull. "Die, you fucking piece of shit!" Express yelled, cursing with human slang for the first time in her life as she fired the weapon. Dan didn't notice at all as he raised the Serro again, targeting the Mekboy's exposed green skin and seeing only possible metal deposits.

The Mekboy roared violently, dropping the thing and grabbing one of Dan's arms with its right hand while swinging with its left, aiming for his foe's face.
